Notion

Turns a report into a page in a Notion database, with fields mapped onto whatever properties that database already has.

Connect it

Notion integrations only see pages explicitly shared with them. Creating the integration and pasting its secret below isn't enough on its own — you also have to open your bugs database in Notion and share it with the integration. This is the step almost everyone misses first, and it's why the database picker in step 4 shows nothing until it's done.

1. Create an internal integration at notion.so/my-integrations and copy its secret.
2. Settings → Integrations → Notion and paste the secret.
3. In Notion, open your bugs database → ⋯ → Connections → add the integration you just created.
4. Back in BugCapture, test connection, then pick the default database — it will now appear in the list, because step 3 made it visible.

Filing

Create a → Notion page, from the capture editor or a filed report. BugCapture finds your database's title property automatically (by type, not by name — every database has exactly one, whatever it's called), then maps a few common properties onto whatever your database already has: Severity, Priority, Status and Environment as select fields, and URL as a URL field, matched by name and type. Anything that doesn't match a property lands in the page body instead, so nothing is lost even on a database with an unusual schema.

The page body carries the full report detail — description, repro steps, a link back to the full report — and the screenshot, uploaded as a real file so it renders inline rather than as a link that can expire.

The report gets a Notion reference linking straight to the page.
