Slack

Posts a report to a Slack channel — a notification, not a tracker. Nothing is "created" in Slack that can be opened or closed the way a Jira or Linear issue is; a report sent to Slack is a message with the details and a link back to the full report.

Connect it

1. In Slack, go to a channel → Apps → Incoming Webhooks (or your workspace's app directory) and create a webhook URL for the channel you want reports posted to.
2. Settings → Integrations → Slack and paste the webhook URL.
3. Test connection — this posts a confirmation message to the channel, so you can see it land before relying on it.

A webhook is tied to one channel. To post to a different channel, create a new webhook there and update the one saved in Settings.

Sending

Send to Slack is a manual action on a filed report — not automatic. Reports don't post to Slack the moment they're captured; you choose which ones to send, and when.

The message includes the title, severity, environment and the page URL, a button linking back to the full report, and the screenshot rendered inline. The screenshot is served from a link that stays valid for 7 days — long enough for Slack's own preview caching to take over in almost every case, after which the full report link is still there and still works.
